Ledger CTO Says Blockchain Favors Hash-Based Post-Quantum Signatures

Ledger CTO Charles Guillemet said post-quantum cryptography migration has entered a critical stage, with NIST planning to phase out high-risk algorithms by 2030. Guillemet said blockchain systems favor SLH-DSA hash-based signatures, while traditional systems prefer ML-DSA hybrid schemes.
