Mars Finance News, April 23 — Vice Director of the National Intellectual Property Administration, Rui Wenbiao, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office today that moving forward, the National Intellectual Property Administration will work with relevant departments to actively improve the intellectual property protection system in emerging fields, to meet the development needs of these fields, and to better incentivize and protect innovation.
Rui Wenbiao introduced that in the area of artificial intelligence, the National Intellectual Property Administration has revised the patent examination guidelines to improve the standards for examining artificial intelligence patent applications, adding ethical considerations and judgments related to AI technology to adapt to technological development and governance needs.
At the same time, the National Intellectual Property Administration is also actively participating in global intellectual property governance in the AI field, promoting the establishment of fair and reasonable international rules for intellectual property. (Shanghai Securities News)
