Today, on-chain data is "lagging again," looking like the market is holding back a big move, but actually, it's often just indexers/subgraphs chasing blocks: with more new blocks and more events, they queue up before entering the database, and your frontend is like being paused. Adding RPC rate limiting makes it even more realistic; once the free quota is exhausted, requests start getting dropped, and refreshing ten times is just fighting the air... Basically, it's not your network connection being bad, but everyone competing for the same water pipe.

Recently, there's been talk about certain regions increasing taxes and tightening compliance, and when deposit and withdrawal expectations change, query volume can suddenly spike, making the "why is the whole network suddenly slow" feeling even more obvious. Anyway, I now look at data latency, take a deep breath, and don't mistake lag for a signal, nor rush to press the buy button. That's all for now, I’m going to work.
