Google Jules Repositioned as End-to-End Product Development Platform, New Version Waitlist Opened

According to monitoring by Beating, the Google Jules team has announced the opening of a waitlist for the new version. Jules has been repositioned from its previous role as an asynchronous coding agent to an ‘end-to-end agentic product development platform.’ The official description states that it reads the entire product context, determines what to build next, proposes solutions, and then submits a PR. Previously, Jules operated as an asynchronous coding agent integrated with GitHub, executing specific coding tasks assigned by users in the background and submitting code. The change in the new version is that the agent no longer just executes given tasks but actively understands the overall product and decides what to do.
