I just sent a small collateral pledge operation, and it got stuck in the mempool queue for half a day. Staring at that “pending” status made me pretty anxious… Basically, your transaction is just standing at the door, and miners/validators pick and pack it. If others pay more to jump the queue, you get pushed back. What’s more annoying is that when the market suddenly moves, the originally acceptable quote might slip beyond the slippage limit, and in the end, it either fails with some wasted fees or you have to manually speed up/cancel, like flashing your lights at a traffic jam.

Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA and US Treasury yields with on-chain yield products. I actually care more about this “execution process” uncertainty: no matter how attractive the returns are, if the entry and exit get stuck, the experience genuinely drops… Forget it, next time during congestion, I’d rather go slower and take fewer steps, and not fight with the mempool.
