X releases two updates: XChat now supports sharing group chat links and will officially discontinue X Communities
Mars Finance reports that X product lead and Solana advisor Nikita Bier posted an announcement regarding two product changes related to community organization on X, including: XChat now supports joinable link group chats. Users can create a public link to directly share on their timeline. Each group chat supports 350 members (and the number is still increasing). Due to declining usage, the X platform will officially deprecate X Communities on May 6.
