Li Liyun appointed as CTO of Zhongqing Robotics
Zhongqing Robotics announced on April 21st that Dr. Li Liyun officially joined Zhongqing Robotics as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Li Liyun will oversee the full lifecycle management of the company’s embodied intelligence technology. According to the company, Li Liyun graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University’s Department of Electronic Engineering and earned a Ph.D. from New York University’s Department of Computer Science. He previously served as Vice President of Xiaopeng Motors, leading the AI transformation and organizational upgrade of the autonomous driving team “Product + Technology.” Prior to that, he held key positions such as technical architect and senior expert at LinkedIn’s U.S. headquarters, Baidu’s Apollo team in the U.S., and JD.com’s JDX Smart Logistics Laboratory.
