I just saw something very interesting about X's plans for the coming months. Nikita Bier, the product manager there, is working on integrating video editing into the platform, and the expected cycle is about three months.
What caught my attention the most was the prototype she showed. She managed to build a browser-based video editor in just 15 minutes using AI. I mean, that's insanely fast. It means if you can make a functional editor in a quarter of an hour, imagine what these AI models can do when they have more time and resources.
She was very clear in pointing out that traditional video editing tools, those heavy suites like Adobe, might be facing their end. AI will be able to do the work that previously required hours of manual editing in minutes. It's a massive change when you stop to think about it.
The most interesting part is that Nikita also works as a consultant for Solana, so she's well-positioned to understand how these technologies will impact the crypto ecosystem as well. She talked a lot about the challenges of predicting what users will want in the future, considering how quickly technology evolves. Companies are struggling to keep up.
But the truth is that video editing is about to become much more accessible. It won't be exclusive to those with expensive software or technical knowledge anymore. AI is democratizing all of this. As these models advance, content production as we know it will change completely. It’s already changing.
