Thailand SEC Proposes Licensing for Digital Asset Derivatives Without New Company Requirement

On April 23, news emerged that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand is publicly seeking opinions on adjusting the licensing rules for futures contracts. The core content allows existing digital asset business operators to directly apply for futures contract business licenses without the need to establish a new company. Additionally, digital assets will be formally included as reference underlying assets for futures contracts.
