I just realized that major asset managers worldwide are apparently taking Bitcoin much more seriously than they did a few years ago. The 29 leading investment firms, which together control about $146 trillion in assets, have now incorporated Bitcoin into their portfolios. This is actually remarkable considering how extremely conservative these institutions are.

This shows me that Bitcoin has long since moved beyond being just a speculative asset. For these established financial institutions, it's not about short-term profits but about recognizing Bitcoin as a legitimate asset class. When such players with this enormous amount of managed assets start integrating Bitcoin, it signals something important to the entire market.

This trend will likely continue. The more institutional money flows into Bitcoin, the more stable and accepted the entire asset class becomes. It could be interesting for long-term investors. Gate also has some good tools to track such institutional developments and to invest in Bitcoin themselves.
