Italy plans to send four ships to the Strait of Hormuz

Golden Finance reports that on April 23rd, Italian Navy Chief of Staff Bergetto stated that Italy plans to send a task force consisting of four ships to the Strait of Hormuz, including two minesweepers, one escort ship, and one logistics support vessel. Bergetto pointed out that Italy will not act alone but will participate within the framework of an international alliance. Within Europe, other countries will also send minesweepers, including France, the United Kingdom, and a joint minesweeping force composed of the Netherlands and Belgium. (CCTV News)
