Abstract generation in progress

Golden Finance reports that on April 23, the AI startup Vast Data announced the completion of a $1 billion funding round, valuing the company at $30 billion, with investors including NVIDIA. Founded in 2016, Vast focuses on providing large-scale data management software infrastructure for AI applications and has pioneered the DASE architecture. The company stated that its technology supports millions of GPU computing projects, with clients including CoreWeave, Mistral, the U.S. Air Force, and Cursor. This latest funding round has more than tripled Vast’s valuation from $9.1 billion in its 2023 financing. The funding reflects that, as the development and deployment of general artificial intelligence systems accelerate, market demand for next-generation data infrastructure architecture is rapidly increasing.
