Hong Kong has recently taken a new step regarding AI - financial regulators have jointly launched GenA.I Sandbox++, an interesting program for financial institutions wanting to experiment with AI technology.

The beauty of this sandbox is that it creates a controlled environment, allowing licensed companies to develop and test AI solutions without worrying too much about regulations. The program is designed to support AI applications in risk management, fraud detection, and enhancing customer experience - areas that the financial industry always needs.

What I find noteworthy is that participants will receive real support - from regulatory guidance to technical assistance, even gaining access to Cyberport's AI Supercomputing Center. This is a practical way to encourage innovation, not just empty talk.

Overall, this sandbox reflects the trend of countries trying to find a balance between promoting new AI technology and ensuring financial safety. Hong Kong is proving itself as a creative hub in this field.
