I found that unrealized losses are really more stressful than unrealized gains. Clearly I haven't sold yet, but my mind keeps "settling" for me, and the more I look, the more I feel like the next second will be cut by bridge delays and transaction fees... Conversely, when I have unrealized gains, I tend to think: don’t get too cocky yet, if cross-chain transfers slow down, I might just spit it all back out.

Recently, during the airdrop season, it’s even more obvious. Task platforms are anti-witching and using point systems, making the grab-and-go crowd act like clocking in at work. I’m also overwhelmed by too much information and feeling anxious: which chain, which bridge, which task is worth spending effort on? I now simply filter: only focus on ecosystems I truly know how to use, first review safety incidents and costs, and the rest I’ll just consider missed opportunities—sleep is more important.
