Golden Finance reports that on April 22—today (April 22)—Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Baghaei said Iran has not yet decided whether to take part in a new round of negotiations with the United States. In an interview with the media, Baghaei said that Iran, in good faith and with a serious attitude, participated in the first round of negotiations with the United States, but the U.S. side showed a cold attitude, lacked sincerity, and its position was also unstable and changed repeatedly. He said that the Iranian side has clearly stated that if attending the negotiations by going to Islamabad, Pakistan serves the national interest, it will attend, but it has not made any decision yet. Baghaei said that the United States’ blockade of Iranian ports is an act of aggression, and shooting at and seizing Iranian merchant vessels is not conduct that a country truly committed to a serious diplomatic process should have.
