I now mostly transfer funds to L2 first; saving gas and being worry-free is really nice, but it's not about blindly throwing everything over. The habit is: small daily transactions go on L2, while the mainnet only keeps "core assets + key permissions" (like long-term loans, collateral, governance voting), anyway, I’d rather pay extra mainnet gas once than get stuck in the middle when bridging back and forth later.
There's also an old problem: before each operation, check the health of the lending pool and how far the liquidation line is from me—don't push the position too close just to save that little gas. Recently, memes and celebrity calls have become popular again, and newcomers keep asking me "which chain is fastest," but honestly, speed doesn’t matter much; avoiding the last step is more important... Long-term profits aren’t really about talent, but about a bunch of small habits accumulated over time.
