Reporters learned from today’s Beijing Municipal Government Information Office press conference: from August 22 to 26, the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Sports Games will be held at the National Speed Skating Oval “Ice Ribbon.” Compared to the previous event, this competition will feature more diverse events, with over 30 exciting competitions. In addition to traditional star events such as 100 meters, football, and martial arts, new events include robot tug-of-war, which requires team cooperation to generate maximum combined force; pitching, inspired by Chinese traditional shooting rituals, testing precise control and perception; and weightlifting, which challenges upper limb load capacity in extreme conditions.
