In the past couple of days, I've seen a bunch of people staring at "whale addresses moving" and wanting to follow the trades. I also watch, but I'm more afraid of misjudging the situation: is it slowly building a position, or is it hedging/rebalancing? Honestly, with that on-chain transfer, you have no idea if they have opened a short on the other side or locked in their risk. Following in might just be riding the tailwind of their balancing trades... But it's not like you can't use it as a reference at all. I usually wait and see if they are stacking in batches, moving back and forth, or adding in the same direction. If it's not confirmed, I hold back. Recently, Meme and celebrity calls have heated up again. Newcomers are easily distracted by attention, and veteran players' advice to "not catch the last leg" really makes sense. First, suppress your emotions, avoid chasing if you can, and if you miss out, just accept it.
