Lately I've been looking into cross-chain bridges again, and honestly, I’ve become a bit “tedious” about it.

In the past, I’d jump in whenever I saw something cheap, but I’ve come to realize that multi-signature isn’t a foolproof shield: having many signers doesn’t necessarily mean safety, the key is who is signing, how they are signing, and whether a bunch of permissions are stacked together.
Oracles are the same; they sound advanced, but really it’s just about whether the “data feeders” are reliable. If the data sources get messy, it’s very awkward.

And that “wait for confirmation” thing—used to think it was slow, but now I see it as my brake.
A few days ago, I even set a reminder and a limit for myself: only transfer a small amount when bridging, and wait a bit before doing the rest.
Strangely, after setting that up, I felt less anxious—like pulling my brain out of FOMO a little… Anyway, being a bit slower won’t kill me.

By the way, I want to complain that recently, on-chain data tools and tagging systems are said to be lagging or even misleading, and I believe it.
Tags are just for reference; before making a move, you still need to verify more yourself—don’t treat others’ “labels” as gospel.
In a bear market, patience is key, so you don’t have to pay tuition.
