Coin World News reports that on April 22, Xinhua News Agency reported that in response to U.S. President Trump’s comments on April 22 regarding the possibility of new negotiations between the U.S. and Iran on the 24th, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency said that Trump "lied again," and Iran has not yet decided whether to participate in the negotiations on the 24th. The report states that in contradictory remarks to the New York Post, Trump indicated that the second round of talks with Iran could be held on the 24th. However, so far, Iran has not changed its plan not to participate in the negotiations. The Iranian government has not issued an official stance on extending the ceasefire.
