Recently, I've seen a bunch of PFP/member cards talking about "brand storytelling." I'll focus on two points first: besides how good the avatar looks, can this card/image consistently save you trouble (information, resources, services), and can the team clearly define the rules so they don't change the game plan from one day to the next? Frankly, long-term value isn't built on emotions; it's based on delivery and a sense of boundaries.

The recent incentive wave for new L1/L2 projects to boost TVL is quite typical. I understand old users complaining about "mining, selling, and flipping": attention comes quickly and leaves just as fast. If PFPs only rely on airdrops or whitelist incentives, it's similar to mining—exciting for a couple of weeks and then gone. My approach is still to hold small positions in batches; I keep track of big on-chain whales' movements but don't follow their trades... staying steady is better, don’t get caught up in the hype.
