I just saw that Elon Musk's fortune has already surpassed $839 billion. That is, he became the first person in history to break the $800 billion barrier.

The interesting thing is that this didn't happen overnight. Since May 2024, he has been the richest person on the planet, but the growth rate in recent months has accelerated. In just the last month, he gained $64 billion, and since the start of 2026, his wealth has grown by more than $100 billion.

Looking at historical milestones, in October 2025 he reached $500 billion. Then last December, he first crossed $600 billion and later $700 billion. Now in February, he was already above $800 billion. The speed is remarkable.

All of this comes from the increase in the valuation of his companies. Meanwhile, Larry Page is more than $500 billion behind in second place. It's hard to imagine what Elon Musk's fortune is in real terms, but it basically doubles that of the next richest person.

The question many are asking is what’s next. Because if the pattern continues, we will probably see even more extreme numbers in the coming months. Elon Musk's wealth is in a territory that was recently unthinkable for a single person.
