I just saw that Elon Musk has just broken another historic record. His net worth has surpassed 800 billion dollars, becoming the first person in history to reach this figure. We are talking about 839 billion dollars according to Forbes from March.
The interesting part is how he got to this point. Since May 2024, he has maintained his position as the world's richest person, but the growth in recent months has been accelerated. Just last month, his wealth increased by 64 billion, and since the start of 2026, he has added more than 100 billion.
All of this comes from the increase in the valuation of his companies. If you look at it in perspective, in October 2025, he reached 500 billion, then in December, he surpassed 600 billion and reached 700 billion, and now he's already at 800 billion. It's exponential growth.
What catches my attention the most is the gap he has opened with the second-richest person. Larry Page is more than 500 billion behind. It's a difference that sounds almost unreal. Musk's companies are clearly in a very strong revaluation phase, and that is directly reflected in these numbers you see in the rankings.
This kind of milestone is not just numbers on paper; they reflect how the market values entrepreneurs and their projects at this moment.
