Recently, I keep running into on-chain data that “lags”—to be blunt, a lot of the time it’s not that your network is bad. Many times, the indexer/Subgraph simply hasn’t finished chewing through the new blocks yet, or your RPC is being rate-limited, so it’s effectively playing dead on you… You watch your balance not move, and your transaction history stays blank, and your hands start to shake, thinking you’re about to get rug-pulled a third time. Later, I learned the hard way: for small test amounts, don’t chase explanations. For the same transaction, I’ll switch to a different RPC, check it once through another frontend, and after a few minutes it lines up on its own. Outside, people are still tying ETF capital flows together with how risk-on/off is in the U.S. stock market—sounds pretty lively—but I trust more in the idea that “data has emotions” too. When it randomly stalls, I take it as the universe reminding me: don’t be too hasty—just leave it at that for now.
