These days, there's another wave of hot topics rotating, and the timeline is flashing so fast it hurts your eyes. To put it simply, attention is a cost; whoever you focus on is the one who comes to collect your taxes. The heated debate over privacy coins, mixing coins, and regulatory boundaries is also the same—everyone arguing fiercely, but there’s actually not much information that truly impacts your holdings and risk tolerance.

I used to get itchy too, wanting to chase after trending keywords, afraid of missing out. Later, I realized that the easiest way to get burned isn’t by “not understanding,” but by “looking too often”: emotions get pulled along, frequent entries and exits lead to slippage, fees, and misjudgments piling up. Now I set myself a simple rule: only monitor a few long-term indicators (on-chain security, penalty mechanisms, node status), treat the hottest topics as background noise, and if I really want to engage, I’ll sleep on it first. Anyway, as long as the nodes stay online, I can slow down.
