Iranian military issues latest statement
Iran warns it will destroy all U.S. and Israeli assets in the Middle East.
Iranian media reported on the 3rd that the Iranian military issued a statement saying that if the United States dares to attack Iran’s infrastructure, Iran will destroy all assets and infrastructure of the United States and Israel in the Middle East.
According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, the statement is a response to recent repeated threats by U.S. President Trump to sabotage Iran’s bridges, power plants, and energy infrastructure. The statement said that if these threats are carried out, Iran will destroy all assets and infrastructure of the United States and Israel in the Middle East; the scope of the attack could also be further expanded to include “important assets of U.S. allies in the Middle East.”
The statement also said that countries hosting U.S. military bases, if they wish to avoid being affected, should urge the U.S. military to withdraw from their territories.
