US Media: Second Round of Israel-Lebanon Talks to Be Held on 23rd in the US

On April 22, CNN reported that the second round of ambassador-level talks between Israel and Lebanon will take place on the 23rd of this month at the U.S. State Department. The report cited a State Department official stating that U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee will join the talks as a new member of the U.S. delegation. Secretary of State Rubio, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michelle Issa, and State Department advisor Michael Needham will also attend the talks again. Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Mike Herzog and Lebanese Ambassador to the U.S. Nada Hamadeh Mouawad will once again lead their respective delegations. Previously, a trilateral ambassador-level meeting between Israel, Lebanon, and the U.S. was held at the State Department on the 14th. Following the talks, Israel and Lebanon officially began a 10-day ceasefire at 5 AM Beijing time on the 17th.
