BlockBeats news, April 23 — the CEO of Google Cloud said that Gemini will help Apple launch personalized Siri in 2026.

BlockBeats previously reported that on March 25, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said that Apple is testing an independent Siri app in iOS 27 and macOS 27, upgrading Siri from a system-level assistant to a brand-new interface similar to a chat robot. The new version supports text and voice conversations, and includes features such as a conversation history list, favorite chats, search history, and starting new conversations.

Siri’s visual presentation will be moved to the top of the screen in the Dynamic Island area, the search prompt bar will be displayed as “Search or Ask,” and a new “Ask Siri” button will be added. The new Siri is powered by Apple’s self-developed Apple Foundation Models, while also integrating Google Gemini technology, and the two sides reached an approximately $1 billion cooperation agreement last year. WWDC26 is scheduled to open on June 8, at which time it will be officially announced.
