Recently, people keep saying "It's all written on the chain, how could it be wrong?" I can only say... the version of "on-chain" you see might also be queued. Behind wallets/browsers are nodes, RPCs, and indexers; if one link stalls, refreshing ten times just changes the source of the delay. Not to mention some indexers will rerun or rollback; the transaction records you saw a second ago might look different later—it's not your eyes playing tricks.

My current approach is very simple: don't trust a single source for key data, at least check two RPC providers and review the raw transaction/event logs. It may be slower, but it’s more reliable. During this airdrop season, it’s even more obvious—task platforms are mixing anti-witchcraft measures with a points system, everyone’s competing like clocking in at work, yet many are anxiously checking "Have I completed the on-chain tasks?"... Honestly, sometimes it’s not that you haven’t done it, but that their sync hasn’t caught up yet. Anyway, don’t let anxiety lead you around; I’ll take a sip of coffee and refresh again.
