Lately I've been looking at a bunch of PFPs, membership cards, and brand collaborations. Basically, it's often just about buying a "visible" position, and the hype lasts for a couple of weeks before fading away. I believe in two points for long-term value: whether there's someone willing to buy at the floor price, and whether secondary liquidity continues to have transactions. Without that, no matter how good the story, it can't hold up. Now there's a trend of testnet incentives and points expectations, and everyone in the group is guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens... Attention is being pulled away, and NFT projects seem more like waiting for funds to flow back. There's so much information that I feel a bit anxious. My filtering method is pretty simple: I only look at the transaction curve over the past 7 days and the change in holders. If there's no volume or new holders, I just treat it as short-term fireworks—forget it, I won't join this hype.
