The report states that 360 AI vulnerability agents have discovered nearly a thousand unknown vulnerabilities, competing with Mythos.
According to Dongcha Beating Monitoring, Bloomberg cited a report by Eugenio Benincasa, a senior researcher at the Security Research Center of ETH Zurich, stating that in recent months, the Chinese cybersecurity company 360 Digital Security Group announced the development of an AI-driven “Vulnerability Discovery Agent,” which has identified nearly 1,000 previously unknown software vulnerabilities, affecting products including Microsoft Office and the open-source AI agent framework OpenClaw.
The report was published by Natto Thoughts, a company focused on Chinese cybersecurity research, and reviewed a series of recent Chinese announcements from 360. 360 said that AI has “evolved from an auxiliary tool into the core engine for vulnerability discovery,” and earlier this year it also announced the development of AI tools to accelerate the construction of exploit chains. Exploit chains are a prerequisite for infiltrating target computers.
Benincasa believes that 360 is positioning itself as a direct competitor to Anthropic Mythos.
