The world's largest variable frequency compressor manufacturing base has been completed and put into operation in Meishan.

On April 20, the world’s largest variable-frequency compressor manufacturing base and the Danfu Intelligent Electromechanical Project were completed and put into operation in Dongpo District, Meishan City. The project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan, and once it reaches full capacity, it will produce 20 million compressors per year. A relevant person in charge of Meishan City government said that the project will effectively enhance the production capacity scale of variable-frequency compressors in Southwest China and further consolidate China’s competitive advantage in the global refrigeration compressor industry chain. A relevant official from the CPC committee of Dongpo District said that the commissioning of the Danfu Intelligent Electromechanical Project will strongly help attract and gather high-quality resources across the upstream and downstream supply chain, enabling Dongpo District to build the city’s first trillion-yuan “extreme core.” (Sichuan Daily)
