I just reviewed the charts and things are looking interesting: altcoins are showing much stronger signals than Bitcoin at the moment. Technical indicators like MACD and RSI are pointing in a clear direction, so it's not surprising that several analysts are talking about a possible altcoin season.

What catches attention is that Bitcoin remains in a fairly narrow range, while altcoins are gaining momentum. This is exactly the kind of divergence that often precedes significant moves. Altcoin dominance is around 7.5%, and traders are watching for any confirmation of a reversal.

Analysts like Mikybull Crypto and Javon Marks have been pointing out this improvement in indicators, suggesting we might be in the early stages of a favorable cycle for altcoins. Historical patterns support this: when altcoins show more relative strength than Bitcoin, you typically see quick movements in the following weeks.

Of course, not everything is bullish. Some warn that high global interest rates could slow investment in risk assets like cryptocurrencies. That’s a valid point to consider. That said, Michaël van de Poppe is already highlighting projects like SEI as potential winners in an altcoin season, especially because it’s trading above its 21-day moving average.

The conclusion is that if Bitcoin continues to move sideways, altcoins could have the space they need to take off. It’s the kind of scenario where it’s worth paying attention to opportunities in this segment.
