The Israeli military claims Hezbollah in Lebanon "violated the ceasefire agreement"

Odaily Planet Daily News: The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the 22nd stating that Hezbollah in Lebanon “violated the ceasefire agreement,” and the IDF will take action to “eliminate the threat.” The statement said that Hezbollah launched a drone at IDF soldiers located south of the “frontline” in southern Lebanon, which the IDF described as a “violation of the ceasefire agreement” and has intercepted. The IDF also said it will continue to take action to “eliminate any threats to Israeli civilians and military.” On the same day, the IDF also stated in another statement that during operations to dismantle armed infrastructure in several areas south of the “frontline,” weapons including rocket launchers, ammunition, drones, and firearms were found. The IDF said these weapons were originally used by Hezbollah militants to attack the IDF. Additionally, the IDF reported that the day before, two armed individuals who “crossed the frontline and approached IDF soldiers” were found in Saluki, southern Lebanon. The IDF described them as a “direct threat,” and subsequently launched an airstrike that killed both individuals. (Xinhua News Agency)
