Badger Meter Analysts Slash Their Forecasts After Q1 Earnings

Badger Meter (NYSE: BMI) reported weaker-than-expected Q1 results, with sales down 9% to $202.3 million and diluted EPS falling to 93 cents. Despite these results, CEO Kenneth C. Bockhorst attributes the decline to project timing and customer order patterns rather than a change in underlying demand. Following the earnings announcement, several analysts revised their price targets for Badger Meter downwards.
