Note: The RMB midpoint rate is determined by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System, which inquires all market makers in the interbank foreign exchange market before the daily market opens. All quotes from market makers are used as samples to calculate the midpoint rate of RMB to USD. After removing the highest and lowest quotes, the remaining quotes are weighted and averaged to obtain the midpoint rate. The RMB exchange rate midpoint is the most important reference indicator for the spot interbank foreign exchange market and bank-listed rates.
