Signs of Insufficient Yang Energy in Men

1. Frequent Flatulence
If a man has insufficient yang energy, he will experience increased flatulence, as the deficiency of yin and yang kidney qi affects the spleen and stomach. It is well known that the spleen governs transportation and transformation; if the spleen and stomach are not functioning well, the food ingested cannot be properly digested and will accumulate in the body for a long time. The intestines break down the food, producing excessive gas and resulting in more frequent flatulence.

2. Poor Sleep
If a man has insufficient yang energy, he will have restless sleep at night, difficulty falling asleep or waking up easily after falling asleep, frequent dreams, and many trips to the bathroom, leading to poor sleep quality.

3. Yellow Urine
In the morning, if a man’s first urine is persistently dark yellow like concentrated tea, it is mostly caused by a deficiency of yang energy.

4. Bitter Mouth and Bad Breath
Men with insufficient yang energy often have sluggish stomach qi, which eventually stagnates and causes foul odor. The accumulation of bad substances in the body results in a dry mouth, bitter taste, and bad breath upon waking.
