Another cargo ship was attacked while attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
Odaily Planet Daily News reported that as of April 22 local time, the Vanguard intelligence company said that a cargo ship was attacked while attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This was the third ship attacked that day. It is reported that the Panama-flagged cargo vessel “MSCFrancesca” was attacked in waters about 6 nautical miles off the Iranian coast while sailing out of the Strait of Hormuz and entering the Gulf of Oman heading south. The ship reported that “the hull and living quarters were damaged.” Earlier that day, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Office had released two reports of ships being attacked in that area.
