The Global Security Initiative has been incorporated into more than 140 bilateral and multilateral documents between China and other countries.
China proposed the Global Security Initiative on April 21, 2022, in response to the international community’s hopes for maintaining world peace and preventing conflicts and wars, and to meet the common desire of people around the world to overcome difficulties and create a better world. Over the past four years, China has unwaveringly promoted the implementation of the Global Security Initiative. By the end of 2025, the initiative has received support and praise from more than 130 countries and regions, as well as international organizations, and has been explicitly included in over 140 bilateral and multilateral documents between China and other countries.
