These days, the group has been discussing staking unlocks and unlock calendars again. When the selling pressure anxiety hits, I just don’t want to click any links… To put it simply, no matter how volatile the market is, I can’t touch the two red lines: seed phrase and authorization.
My current habit is: I rarely use my main wallet outside, and for new chains and new tools, I use a secondary wallet with a fixed limit. Once I almost signed an “infinite authorization” on a phishing site, I reached out my hand before realizing something was wrong. I quickly closed the page to check the domain name, breaking out in a cold sweat. Later, I set reminders/limits for my wallet, with an extra confirmation popup each time, which actually calmed my nerves: even if I get distracted and slip up, I’d only lose a lunch’s worth of money, not a night’s sleep back to before the unlock. Anyway, I prefer it to be a bit more troublesome than leaving myself a pit of regret.
