I'm currently looking at bridges/protocols, and I really don't buy into the hype of "TPS is high, fees are low, and subsidies are attractive" in these mouthful battles... Honestly, moving fast doesn't mean you can stop in time. Beginners wanting to see credibility should first check GitHub: it's not about how many stars it has, but whether it's being maintained continuously, whether changes are explained, and whether patches are promptly applied when issues arise (I frown at projects that haven't had any activity for a week). Don't just look at the words "audited" in the audit report; focus on what scope was written, what wasn't covered, and whether the identified issues have truly been fixed. The most important thing is permission upgrades: who is multi-signature, what are the thresholds, can the logic be changed arbitrarily, and ideally, is there a delay (to give people time to react). What I fear most isn't loss, but losing control—assets are still there, but the rules can be changed with one click, and you can't even find the person to argue with. That's all for now; I'd rather be slow than hand myself over.
