Recently, interesting news has emerged regarding Elon Musk's assets. Looking at Forbes' latest list, Musk's net worth has surpassed $800 billion. This is a record for an individual’s wealth worldwide.
Specifically, his assets are said to have reached $839 billion. Musk has maintained the position of the world's richest person since May 2024, and reaching this scale is truly extraordinary. After hitting $500 billion in October last year, his wealth has been increasing at an accelerated pace, so this kind of growth was perhaps inevitable.
What’s fascinating is the pace of this asset increase. In just the past month alone, it has grown by $64 billion. Since early 2026, the increase exceeds $100 billion. This shows how rapidly the valuation of his companies has skyrocketed. The growth of Elon Musk’s assets is fundamentally linked to the growth of the group of companies he is involved with.
The gap between him and the second-richest, Larry Page, continues to widen. Now, there is a difference of over $500 billion. Looking at Elon Musk’s wealth growth curve, this trend is likely to continue. Personally, I think it’s worth paying attention to how far this concentration of wealth will progress.
