On April 22, The New York Times reported, citing two informed sources, that SpaceX has agreed to acquire Cursor for over $50 billion. Cursor is a rapidly growing artificial intelligence startup focused on developing coding software. As SpaceX prepares for what could be one of the largest IPOs in history, this deal comes to light. Founded in 2022, Cursor has raised over $3 billion in funding and has made headlines as one of the fastest-growing AI startups. Previously, SpaceX stated that Cursor had granted it the right to acquire Cursor for $60 billion, or SpaceX could opt to pay $10 billion for the collaborative results of both parties.
