Southwest pilots use evasive action to avoid collision at airport, company says

Southwest Airlines confirmed that pilots of Flight 507 had to take evasive action to avoid another aircraft at Nashville International Airport. While attempting a go-around due to gusty winds, the flight was instructed by air traffic control into the path of a departing Southwest Flight 1152. Both flight crews responded to onboard alerts, and no collision occurred; the FAA is investigating the incident.
