Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data always "pause for a moment," even though the blocks have already been produced. Basically, what you're seeing isn't the blockchain itself, but a series of middleware: wallets/websites first send RPC requests, which may be rate-limited or queued; then many front-ends read from indexers/subgraphs, which need to wait for them to fetch the new blocks, parse them, write to the database, and refresh the query cache. Any slow step in between can make it feel like there's a delay. Sometimes, node reorganizations happen, and indexers have to roll back and recalculate, making it feel more like "it was just there, and now it's gone." Recently, with the loosening of compliance on deposits and withdrawals, everyone's mood has become more anxious. When they can't see their balance refresh, they start doubting everything... Actually, waiting ten more seconds or switching to a different RPC or data source often solves the problem. That's all for now.
