Google Launches New AI Tools to Compete with OpenAI and Anthropic

Tech giant Alphabet’s Google has launched a series of tools for building AI agents aimed at helping businesses automate tasks. This is the company’s latest initiative to compete with OpenAI and Anthropic PBC in this rapidly growing market. At the annual conference held in Las Vegas, Google’s cloud computing division showcased a range of tools that can be used to create AI agents and track their work within enterprises, including a dedicated inbox for virtual robots to publish information and progress reports. Google also announced updates to its Workspace productivity suite and envisioned how AI agents will fundamentally change the daily workflows of ordinary employees.
