Yesterday, I watched the HTX Hackathon opening ceremony. My overall impression in one sentence: It's been a long time since I've seen such a crowded Web3 offline event. The event was held in Hong Kong, and just a few steps away, you could hear a mix of Chinese and English, and there were even some Eastern European accents — definitely quite a few foreigners.
First, some immediate impressions: some people are looking for projects, some are looking for funding, and others are simply searching for direction. This isn't just a photo-op event for check-ins; I saw developers gathered around demos.
