It's about April 5th, but it was the birthday of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. Since he was born in 1975, he should be 51 years old this year. It's fairly well-known information published on the P2P Foundation profile, but the coincidence of this date is actually quite interesting.
The same April 5th is also the day in 1933 when U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued Executive Order 6102, which prohibited private ownership of gold. In other words, the day Satoshi Nakamoto was born and the day the government took control of citizens' gold completely coincide.
How to interpret this varies from person to person, but many believe that Satoshi Nakamoto intentionally chose this date. Considering the story that the concept of decentralized currency was born out of opposition to government asset control, this coincidence of dates feels less like mere chance and more like a message from Nakamoto.
In fact, when you think about the background of the financial crisis at the time Bitcoin emerged, and the distrust toward central banks, there's a strong possibility that Nakamoto deliberately embedded this symbolism. Because he's a mysterious founder, it's likely that his ideas are reflected in such details.
