I just found out that Musk has officially become the first person whose wealth has surpassed $800 billion. These are simply crazy numbers — $839 billion. For context, that’s more than the GDP of many countries.

Looking at the list of the world’s richest people according to Forbes this year — he’s clearly on a different level. Since May 2024, he’s held the top spot, but over the past month, his wealth has grown by another $64 billion. In all of 2026, it’s already increased by $100 billion.

I remember, back in October last year, he first crossed $500 billion, then in December, he jumped over $600 billion and $700 billion. And now he’s reached $800 billion. That’s some exponential growth.

What’s interesting — the second-richest person, Larry Page, is more than $500 billion behind him. This isn’t just leadership; it’s complete dominance in the ranking of the world’s wealthiest people. The growth of his wealth is directly linked to how the valuations of his companies have skyrocketed.

I don’t know what will happen next, but it seems these numbers will keep growing. It’s fascinating to watch how the list of the world’s wealthiest people changes in real time.
