To be honest, I mostly only use the mainnet now when it’s “really necessary”; otherwise, that little bit of gas is enough to put people off. For everyday transfers and small interactions, I just move to L2 to make the experience smoother—and to be in a better mood. But when it comes to large amounts or positions I plan to leave untouched for a long time, I’m still more willing to go back to the mainnet; at least it feels psychologically reassuring.

I’m not sure if this counts as a compromise: use L2 for small amounts to save time, and use the mainnet for big amounts to sleep soundly. Recently, everyone’s been criticizing miners/validators’ income, MEV, and unfair ordering—honestly, I can understand that. You just want to confirm something, but it ends up feeling like you’re queuing to buy tickets and still getting cut in line… Anyway, my current approach is to trade less frequently and handle things in a more concentrated way; if I can get it done in one go, I won’t split it into several transactions. That’s it for now.
